Habitat for Humanity Home

In the Spring of 2010 the Dartmouth College Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, through the Tucker Foundation, will sponsor the construction of a new single family home at 388 North Main Street in West Lebanon.  Full-time Dartmouth College employees are encouraged to apply.

Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity Eligiblity Guidelines:

  • Your present housing situation is substandard and inadequate.
  • You have lived in the Upper Valley for one year and have worked full-time at Dartmouth College for one year.
  • You are willing to contribute 500 hours of "sweat equity" into building your own house.
  • Your income for a family of four is not greater that about $55,000/year (depending on family size).
  • You are able to repay a zero profit, zero interest mortgage (meaning your income must be at least about $30,000/year).
  • You will make a sustainable commitment to responsible home ownership, and to an on-going partnership with Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity.
